Create living soil that is rich in microbes (bacteria, Fungai) and worms

Focus on the improving whole ecosystem in and around (soil, water, and biodiversity)

Eliminates pesticide and fungicide and reduces need for fertilizers

§ Pesticide kills microbes in soil — microbes are source of nitrogen for plants. Microbes exchange nitrogen with sugars from plants.

§ Fungicide kills fungi in soil which stops the plat roots to exchange sugar with water and nutrition

§ Fungai network under soil is interconnected web of exchange highways to transfer sugars, water and nutrients between plants and trees

Protect soil from direct exposure to sun light that kills microbes from soil

§ Use of cover crops and mulch

Crop rotations to keep the soil well balanced with different nutrients

Stop tilling — tilling exposes soil to direct sun, destroy soil ecology

Use Key-line design and/or swales to slow down the water runoff and collect excess water on land

Use 7 layers design for plantation

§ Root layer plants that grow in soil

§ Ground cover plant

§ Annual pants — that die back during winter

§ Shrub layer — berries etc.

§ Understory trees (fruit trees)

§ Canopy tree — walnuts etc.

§ Vertical layer — climbers like vines
